This project was developed alongside 3G-Office, a Madrid-born studio specialized in designing work spaces.

The multiple activities developed by the Altran España R&D department, calls for flexible and transformable spaces capable of encouraging intellectual work and creative thinking. In the large central space, events and presentations need to coexist with product development or concentration demanding work. The optimization of built volumes, the design of mobile offices and the use of specific furniture allow for complete flexibility in this versatile space.
The use of “spy-glass” in dividing panels, along with solar radiation and lighting control bring the opportunity to radically transform the visual relationships between the VIP lounge and the multi-purpose lounge. This is a clear sign of the translation of functional needs into constructive solutions.
Special materials are used in the main space and in the meeting and multi-purpose lounges allowing practical and creative use of every vertical surface. Informal meeting areas, sitting stands and intermediate spaces complete the whole configuration of these offices providing an ambiguous and shifting quality and transmitting a fresh and innovative look.
